| I noticed a group of individuals in Hell today who were constantly relogging to reset their spells and abilities. Since this is against the rules, is there a way to set it so that when you log back on none of your stuff is reset to force people to rest? This is an unfair adavantage for them as they can farm over and over there for better items then those of us who obey the rules.

Nuli IF you have spent some time in hell you would know there are rest spots in hell.... so i dont think anyone would mess with the rules... unless you were in that group... which would explain it than... Also, how do u know someone was actually in hell??? using hacks or something?? coz there's no way u could tell where someone is unless ur DM, which you definatelly are not... so if thats not the case... than ppl could be transfering items... so PLEASE DONT ACCUSE PPL WITHOUT PROOF

| I've crashed more than once in hell. I ALWAYS crash when Abyss Lords and Abyss Knights cast hellball. | |

The people were in Hell and they know who they are... Yes, there are rest areas, but I was unaware that resting required relogging. Someone's taking it a little person, me thinks they doth protest too much.

| While Sarah has added blankets, there aren't NEAR enough for caster types. It would seriously not be a problem is the majority of spells were increased once you've killed dracula or the mistress. As is it, monsters in hell having 800+ HP each, in somecases 1500+, spells just dont last and blankets go quicker than stink bait in a trailer park. Bonuses for spell casters as they beat the bosses would be excellent. IGMS is a casters most powerful spell, but with only 10 missles, 2 or more monsters is devastating. Increasing the number of missles after mistress would solve a huge number of problems for casters. Making lower level spells more powerful would help as well, such as ice storm or ball lightning. Right now 99%, if not 100%, of the monsters are immune to fire, some are immune to spells 8 (EIGHT) and lower, others cast Globe of Invulnerability for spell immune 4 and lower, many are bigby resistant, the silver dragon summon is nearly worthless; it doesnt do much damage and dies way too fast in hell and is not worth the extra spawns, and large spawns eat spells like crazy.

| im not asking if there are blankets or whatever... im just asking on what reasoning are u saying they relogged to regain spells.... theres so many other reasons to rejoin/crash or even switch chars to check for something??? or do u think differently... if you make a post... get proof please, thanks | |

| ANd I ahve to agree with GPharoah, I've been called out before on relogging simply for crashing to hellball, which is predictable. Are you saying I shouldnt play hell untill I get a better computer then? | |

| Well, its pretty hard to "get proof" of someone relogging other then noting that the people who were doing it, and they know who they are, all logged off at pretty much the exact same times, and each did it approximately 10-20 times that I observed. I can definitely understand that people do crash, but come on, they all crashed at the same time? And their crashes all happened every 15 minutes or so..strange. And as far as logging to "check something on another character" well, that'd make sense if any of them ever logged on another character, except each of them would log off a character, then log on as the same character. This will all be fixed if Sarah could just make it so that relogging does NOT reset any abilities. I think that can be done, then there won't be any need for this discussion.

| Wait a minute..... 10-20 times, and 15 minutes in between... thats 150-300 minutes worth of watching. You wasted 2.5-5 hours trying to see if someone was relogging? | |

No actually, I wasted that time playing, but I always set my server annoucements so I can see them in my chat screen so each time the people doing it relogged, I was able to see it. I will be wasting no more time responding to either G Pharaoh or you Werehound with your silly "what ifs", or "but maybes." I do not need to justify myself to anyone, as I neither accused anyone nor named anyones names, I simply made a point about people relogging. I have already said earlier, if Sarah can just set the mod so nothing resets when people log on it will save us all this discussion. Nuli

| I had the "spells regained on reset" option set so players would not regain spells by relogging. I'm assuming my option file was reinitialized when I redid the server recently.
Players should definitely not relog to regain their spells. There are rest areas set up that purpose as well as the magic blankets.
