Crimson Order ?

So with the crimson Order in Dx2 I'm currently level 47 and can only recieve the initiate gloves. Don't really know why this is but the only +12 ab is really hurting my progress past d12. What is the formula for evaluating monks progress in the guild? Is it just a glitch or am I doing something wrong? Here are my stats if that makes any difference.

I think my Monk got the upgrade at level 50... that's when I went to upgrade the gloves. My monk did really good leveling until upgrade, it can be slow but fun to me. It takes and while to get enough gold to buy up the set but it's very much worth it.

I think the Crimson monk gloves have always been bugged .. even back in the day.
They never get upgraded.
It makes a fist-fighter crimson monk useless.
You need to use a kama -- which will be upgraded every 2 levels by the guy in the Old Order area

My monk is max level and her gloves are and has a +20 and she is pure monk, so if the gloves are useless why did my gloves level up with her?

Hmmm .. perhaps it also depends on how many monk levels you have.
A pure monk -- even with +20 gloves -- would be lower on AB, and would struggle to hit anything in the elite levels.
From memory (having not been on DX2 for a few weeks now) I had found some "Legendary Gloves of Skill" .. monk set compatible .. which seemed pretty good

Well, I have already been to "Hell" with her and true strike... she did good until I got to the second gate, no key.

Um... the +20AB that you get from True Strike does not stack with the +20AB from gloves.

Your char sheet *incorrectly* shows True Strike as adding a +20 bonus to your AB, but if you check the combat log you'll find that True Strike makes no difference to your actual AB when you already have +20 from a weapon.

Pure monks are great fun to play -- I use them often.
They can get a very high AC, which makes them good survivors.
Their downfall is when they need to hit things that also have high AC.

As a pure 40 monk your top AB would be +67.
So you'd have to roll 20s to hit anything with an AC higher than 87
