If you can connect and we can't is probably because an access policy on your router deny our incoming external connections. I think we can't help too much but if you write here your router manufacturer brand and model we can search on internet how to open incoming connections and try to guide you Sad

No router now, and my modem is a "Cisco" from my cable company. All the work they been doing around my home is unreal and may be the reason why I'm having so much trouble. But, I will keep trying to make it work. Thank you all for your help. cheers

I search on google for Cisco modem from your cable company (Charter) and found too much different models to give you some interesting information ... thanks you for keep trying if we can help in something just post here Smile

It's been a few weeks now since I've been able to connect to DX2 on IP 96.32.173.52:5121

As 7witches has indicated ... there's a chance that your router is blocking incoming requests to port 5121.
If you (or a tech-savvy friend) can try to get into the router setup, they might be able to allow port 5121 access to NWN.
You could also try asking your ISP -- they should be able to sort things out very quickly ... if you get lucky and speak to exactly the right person ... but they are also likely to have no idea what we're talking about

As before -- there's no real hurry.
And, as always, real-life always takes precedence over gaming!

Can we please get someone to host this again ? I'm starting my trek to med school in less than a month and having the reprieve of being able to kill some monsters and get set pieces after the long school days would be orgasmic in the extreme. If there's anything you need me to do to help please let me know. or let us download the module and single player it out ? Razz

I haven't had time to run or play much... We had a death in the family, my father in-law passed. For DX2, I can't just pass it out, you'll have to talk with Sarah. I will try to start DX2 back up soon. Sorry guys!

Am currently playing on a slower world called Karador where there are loads of customisations. Can only play about once a week though -- married life is more time consuming!

Sorry for not replying to you guys... I have had a lot of death in my family, I've had two uncles pass away within 2 months and losing my father in-law has took a big hit on me. I miss DX and you guys, give me a few days and I'll see what I can do. Surprised

OK.. I have it up and running on my end...

1. Where I load the server the IP address at the top is 17.16.0.36:5121.

2. My internet IP is 71.86.97.250 and you add :5121 at the end of that, use the one that works for you. You will also have to start a new Character. Sorry.

I will check in when I can. I know it works on my end so enjoy please.

Both IP's do the same, have you port forwarded it? Sorry to be a bug haha.

I used this and got my IP and it gave me 71.86.97.250 and I added :5121, I time out also but when I use the IP address that's on the server load screen 172.16.0.36:5121 I can get in so I have NO clue. Sad

If anyone that's trying to get in and can't could help me please let me know.
