Now that GameSpy have dropped NWN, players can no longer search for new modules out in the NWN online world.

There are moves afoot to set up a community patch for NWN to enable a GameSpy server list replacement.

ps.. Yes -- I know -- "virusman" sounds pretty dodgy ... but that's the handle of the guy on the bioware forum who seems to have done most of the work on this

I haven't been on NWN for some time. For one thing, it's incompatible with the most recent versions of Mac OS X. For another, we no longer have master server support. I think that's essential, otherwise new players will have a hard time finding any server out there.

I did recently boot up an older version of Mac OS X so that I could try NWN, but I didn't have the server IP for Dark's DX2. I'd like to stop in. Maybe later.
