Bug - Ring of Darkness Empty

Ring of Darkness - Epic Item, need to have killed Mistress of Darkness to use.

According to its description, it makes you immune to various spells including Darkness. It doesn't seem to do this though because the She-Devils in Hell seem to cast it on hit. They then sneak attack you for lots of damage.....and you die.
Thought you should know.
