 Legendary Sets

I am just going to say it bluntly, the legendary sets (paladin, cleric, barbarian) are useless. They do nothing to prepare a character for hell or even d15. What is the point of these legendary sets when using a regular yellow item can easily provide better bonuses?

Yeah Im a little disappointed in the legendary set bonuses too. I also wish there were a few more sets for people other then a barbarian, cleric, or paladin.

The High Forest set is especially weak. Being the best and only set for ranger and druid, the set has no damage resistence/reduction. It needs 40/- for all physical damage reduction, 40/- for fire/electric/cold/sonic damage reduction, and haste as set bonus to be close in property to pally or barb set. It will be nice to give it knock down immunity also, since neither ranger nor druid has high discipline, while being able to stand up is critical for a caster. In comparison, both the cleric set and the Rincewind set have kd immunity.

Also needed is a good finnessible weapon so a dex character can be as powerful as a str one (e.g. pally, barb, etc.). A rapier or a shortsword that does positive/magic/divine damage with on hit levels 25-28 should suffice.

Well a few changes to the set bonus would be nice, such as maxed out stats (like the monks), a boost to AC, and perhaps some resistances to magic or divine, just something to help compensate the lack of ac compared to monks. The boost to the ac would be especially nice for clerics because their amulet has no ac bonus at all, leaving them seriously lacking. Just any changes that would help make the characters viable for later dungeons would be awesome.
