So... I'm back; the challange was irresistable.

I have a request though:

You allow us crafting of our Armor, Robe, and Weapon, but I would SO love to see us be able to craft our Helm, Cloak and Shield as well. If you want, I have scripts already that do such. Otherwise I leave you to your expertise.


Also, You can't add Wisdom to any cloaks. Anytime you try, your gold is taken, and the crafter says "The item already has a save bonus!" Which is strange... Wisdom isn't a save bonus, and the cloak didn't have it either.

Welcome back, and thanks for reporting the defect with the "add wisdom" option. The scripts and conversation files that run these sorts of things are pretty complex. It's not difficult to make mistakes, and I wouldn't have the time to do anything new if I tested every option. In other words, I really appreciate people like yourself who make note of these things and inform me. Thanks again!

I tested the script to add properties to cloak. I added each type without problem. I also tried to add more of the same type, and the script properly told me the property already existed. There's a small chance that you might have been modifying a cloak at the same time someone was modifying one elsewhere (there's a tailor in Merchant Isle also). The script uses the same token for both tailors, so it's possible you were getting a result from the other tailor. I'm in the process of rewriting the script to eliminate any possibility of that happening again.

Please provide more details. Which tailor were you using? Did you try several times? Thanks.

I tried at Both Darla and the one in merchant Isle, and I tried Cloaks of Luck and Nobility +1, and every cloak the tailor there sells; none of them worked. It was a little disappointing, as not only buying the cloaks cost me, but multiple times I was told the price (a few over 4 million) and it'd take the gold but give me the error.

What cloak did you try?

Hi Sarah,

What about allowing us to combine gems to give magic, positive or negative damage (not divine though - should be special) on the anvil?
positive - garnet plus topaz
negative - amethyst plus jade
magic - sapphire plus ruby

Weapons that do elemental damage can be upgraded, those that do magic/pos/neg can't. That means you are stuck with, say, a nice weapon with positive damage On Hit lvl 10 - great for d13, d14. Not so good for d15, d16.

Just a thought.
