So, the mroe people you have in the party the less XP you get per kill. So far, it seems like

1 Person: 100%
2 People: 75% each
3 People: 50% each
4 People: 40% each:
5 People: 33% each
6 People +: 25% each

But the number of spawns only increases up to two people. Any more than that, you're losing XP, not to mention having to share loot.


Perhaps make the XP remain the same or even increase with more people?

There's a reason for the reduced XP for parties. It's because a party is MUCH stronger than a solo player. You're supposed to earn the XP, not just accumulate it in no-risk combat. This is similar to a level 60 player killing a level 30 monster. No challenge--no XP.

The party XP split, btw, is better than solo XP. Add up the XP awarded to each player, and you'll find that more total XP is given for team kills. As you noted, you also spawn more in a team, so that gives more potential loot and XP.

There's nothing wrong with traveling in big groups. They can be a lot of fun. Just don't expect me to rewrite it so that the benefits of being in a party are greater than they already are (and the benefits are substantial).

Yes, a lot of players don't realize its benefiting to travel in party for the reasons Sarah has mentioned. Everyone seems that if they solo they get more loots, XP which isn't true. That's why I always travel with my brother coz he's the only one that want's to team up and kill together. We seem to get legendary items faster especially now when loot rate's been increased.

Aye, TOTAL EXP is higher, but exp per individual goes down. It just doesn't seem that right that the more people you get, the less XP you get because spawns only get tougher from 1 to 2 people (I've tested up to 6 with some friends of mine).

It just isn't true that the rewards go down for being in a party. Yes, you'll spawn more monsters, but it's much easier to defeat them with a party. Just one advantage: if you die, someone is hopefully there to save you the XP penalty for respawning. There are many more.

The XP per kill is less (because the team splits the reward), but that's appropriate since you are working together. The XP amount is shared only by those who are in the area, and there's a party bonus that increases the total XP awarded. In other words, the cumulative XP is better.

The most successful players, in my opinion, are those who work in tag teams (Nameless and Nuli, for example). You can complete the module solo, but it's slower going and harder in my opinion. So, just enjoy the team play and share the loot. It's worth it.
