Added evil altars to the module in the most recent update. These altars will provide the necessary healing potions for pale masters and other undead. They replenish periodically, but not frequently. Please check it out and report comments here.

Evil alter's, sadley support for evil toon's ... I know that when you destroy on you get a point toward good...and it still leve the pots on the ground...

I still think that anyone that has an evil alignment should not be allowed into the protected area just as if a monster that was evil was in town...

That would be pretty funny. So all evil players would have to camp out in the dungeons?

BTW, I'll look into a way to destroy the potions when the altar is destroyed. I don't know if it's possible, but I'll try.

I just checked it out. Yes, I can destroy the potions when the altar is destroyed. Now why would you want to be mean to the ol' pale masters? They only want to survive (and dominate, destroy, torture, and whatever else).

This is a reply to Harmjustice's request that all evil characters be "restricted" from protected areas. Just as in real life this is inherently wrong and improbaple. Good and evil not only mingle in society, but in each of us. So how do you propose to segregate them? Wouldn't such persecution make you just as bad as them due to a total lack of tolerance for anothers beliefs? Haven't the greatest injustices in the world all begun with "good intentions"? The virtue of being wholesome is to RESIST the lure of evil - if you remove the contact how do you propose to strive to be holy? I appologize in advance if perchance this is not viewed in the right light. There was no intention to bash, only to enlighten.

Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, Isaha 5;20
Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. John 3;20

concluson, bible study of evil Suspect

Live as free men, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as servents of God. 1Peter 2;16

And as for playing evil toons , DnD in the first edition only allowed for non-evil aligned toons...

Anyway I still think that if someone wants to play an evil toon they should be considered the same as a member of the enemies army... either as a captive or a soldeir...

So have a shout out Praise to God when a person comes back to the Good side( for repentance) which turns there alignment from evil to good...

You can still allow for the evil toons to enter camps but they will have to use there persuatio check even without commiting a crime... Thus affirming they are there peacfully...

History of the bible, for those with a fundamentalists view (literal translation). This Holy book was compiled in Rome at the request of the Emperor and then "edited" by same Emperor. It started as the Book of faith for the institution (man made) now known as Holy Roman Catholicism. Then it was a book few could read for centuries and scribes had to translate others writing in poor light, therefore human error comes into play as to the true interpretation of what the original profits and deciples actually meant, so please do NOT quote scripture to me. If you want to quote then quote the untainted version of what Christ said from the lost scripture known as the Dead Sea Scrolls that predate all previously known manuscripts prior to its discovery. Did you ever wonder why the Church considered them heresy?Because they put the LIGHT to the LIE. Everything has an equal and exact opposite. This is a fundamental truth of reality. The balance must be maintained. How can you distinguish light without a backdrop of darkness?

Funny that you mention the History of the Bible , I have the history of the dead sea scrolls (Dead sea scrolls The untold story by.Kenneth Hanson ph.d.) and also history of how we got our translations(The Bible Through The Ages , Readers Digest) ... Yes man has in the past tryed to change the Bible to suit there own abitions...

The dead sea scrolls discovory has only supported our modern translation's...
Proving that we have accurate translation of the greek, hebrew and aramaic scripture... and they predate even the king james version...
And in the information age, it is not hard to research any of this...

True if you want to study the word of God it is best to learn the original languages in which they were writen... or at least only study trusted interpitors/interpitation's, I Believe that God is more than able to preserve his truth...And if you "Know the Truth the Truth will set you free",

Very nice harmjustice. Then you obviously are well aware of the fact that it has been twisted to suit man down through the ages. The Inquisition, The Holy wars, the persecution that this country is founded on, even the Protestants and Catholics who, in their religious zealousnesss, burned each others churches and killed one another, the persecution of the Jews (world war II), the KKK, so much Evil hidden under the veil of Religious Rightiousness . . .nice history for us Christians. How close to what Christ intended are we truely? "Let those who have never sinned throw the first stone" John8:7, "Stop judging others and you will not be judged" Matthew 7:1, "Do not MURDER" Exodus 20:1(also see matthew 5:21 and 19:18, Romans 13:9, James 2:11). . .Wait . . . Isn't this game we play nothing more then reveling in death and destruction, killing, MURDER? Sorry, please enlighten me. I don't remember a list of exceptions for the Ten Commandments. Let's see...Yup the sixth Commandment states quite clearly "DO NOT MURDER". . .no exceptions. Isn't the thought even without acting on it considered a Mortal sin? Isn't the act of commiting a sin knowingly time and again, a sign of unrepentance, rebelion against the Word of God? Isn't that the epitome of evil? Evil comes from within , therefore the battle is internal and individualistic in nature for all. Didn't Christ seek out and spend all His time with the sinners? How can you profess to be "good" by baring evil toons from gathering places? Without the ability provided by interaction with those of good nature at the outposts, how can evil toons be expected to reform their ways? Yes they may continue to preform evil acts but then again they may not. I say leave it alone, these are areas that a truce has been established, that is why they are non pvp. Yes Gomez you are right we could quote scripture all night and get nowhere . . . I think you have the best suggestion . . . live and let live Smile

Please don't argue over scripture here. Each person is free to be a believer or not. I understand harmjustice's opinion on evil characters, and I don't think he was attacking individual players who like to play evil. Believe me, I've contemplated the very same things harmjustice mentioned. For example, is it OK to play an evil person?

Evil players add a degree of realism to the game, because evil is a part of reality. There are plenty of evil people in the Bible. For example, what would David be without Goliath? We like David because he was favored by God and won a victory (with God's help) over nearly impossible odds.

As far as KT goes, I favor good characters. They have bonuses that evil does not. For example, civilization supports good characters and punishes evil doers (just like real life).

Everyone is free to choose evil or good. If you choose evil, you'll have the liberty to do pretty much whatever you want so long as you don't violate server rules. That's the "benefit" of evil. You can live selfishly all you wish. On the other hand, good players get benefits from society, but they have limits on their behavior.

If you play evil and actually treat other players evil on the server, then that might be going too far. PvP can (and should) be handled respectfully, even if that goes against role playing. What I mean is that evil characters need to avoid becoming abusive to other players, especially one who communicate they want to be left alone.

What do I mean by "abusive?" I think you all should understand when you're crossing a line. If you're playing a murderous thug, it's only natural that you'd try to murder other players. If you find out someone isn't a reasonable challenge and you keep murdering that person every time they try to re-enter the dungeons? If you camp out at the entry points to kill them over and over? If you keep shouting about how weak they are because they lost? Well, that's abusive.

Again, play respectfully at all times and we can all have some fun.

One last thing: perhaps we must endure evil in this age because it gives us the ability choose and grow to become the kinds of people God wants in the afterlife.
