Shield of the Beholder

Specially programmed shield to make player immune (or give better save) to beholder attacks. Create it?

YES PLEASE!!! As anything but a caster I always hated d5 because of the beholders blowing you out of shorts before you can even close into melee with them. That shield will greatly help players to survive a little longer than 5 seconds when they walk into a room with muliple beholders which will make the trip through d5 a little less stressful.

Yeah, definitely with warchief on this one. The beholders are the one thing that push d5 over that line of challenging/aggravating. with a shield that can help that, i think i would enjoy it way more and might actually level in there some instead of grinding d4 into the dust and then leveling really slowly in d6.

I'm thinking a plot to obtain the necessary pieces to put the shield together...in time for D5 of course.

That sounds great to me. I would love to see more plot points and quests on this module. things like the girl in the outpost and the farmer's quest.

I like Sara's idea of piecing together the shield. As a fan of quests this is the one aspect of KT II that I think is lacking. Still one of the best servers online tho.

KT2 in my opinion is just as good if not better than KT1 so far. KT2 hasa slightly higher challenge rating and no uber god classes. I myself have enjoyed playing on KT2 even tho recently I've been playing on 1 other server and coming on KT2 every couple of days or slightly more often at night. KT2 is a great server and I know Sarah is working hard to make KT2 an even more awsome server. I really like the quest idea for the shield and the shield idea so that it makes d5 a little more easier and can be a fun dungeon instead of a get me to the medusa so i can get out of here dungeon.
