Ok, so, I was crafting my Arcane Helm with my sorcerer, I put electrical resistance on it (it became -/30) around level 54, and then upgraded the resistance at level 60, after defeating the mistress. Problem is, once i upgraded the resistance to 35, it no longer worked with my set. I equip it and nothing happens, no recognition, no set item message, nothing, essentially breaking my set. Possible bug; like the tag being changed?
And Issac's Greater Missle Storm? When Maximized, it does 10 shots of 17 totaling to 170 damage; before it was modded, it did 20 shots of 12, totaling 240 damage. Why was it decreased? It's one of a casters prime offensive spells, and enough monsters are immune to it already when a caster needs them the most (like the mistress, doom knight, death's damsels, etc). Could you perhaps raise the number of missles fired? 17 damage seems fine if there were more missles. The spell description says 1 missle per level up to 20, but with the server going to level 60, I think it'd be nice to get +1 missle for every 4 levels above 20, totaling 30 missles at 60 for 17 damage each = 410 damage before resistances/immunities. The empowered version is fine, with 10 missles doing from 12-34 damage each, it makes up for it, for a time, with 12 empowered IGMS, you do ALOT of resting, which equals ALOT of blankets in hell (A single monster can take about 2-3 IGMS if you conserve them by using spells like ice-storm, ball lightning, IGLS, Epic Dragon instead) since you can only rest in select areas.
Onto the dagger of destruction.... Why sonic damage? Monsters/NPCs in D15/D16 are immune to sonic damage, yet it's a legendary dagger found in D16. I can see the benefits of the dagger doing 150+ sonic damage once activated (on 0% immunity and 0% vulnerability), but it does essentially nothing in the dungeons it appeared to be designed for. Possible damage change; to something at least slightly more useful, like electrical (or magic, positive, divine =))?
Sorry for the extended sorcerer rant, they're my favorite class and I just can't see the use for some of these things.
