Don't want to disappoint you, but there are no new items in this update. I will load the changes this weekend whether or not the dungeon is finished. It's playable right now. It just doesn't have the plots finished. I'll do those next.

I ran a test character through it, and it was very deadly unless played with some caution. I'll have to monitor play in it and adjust the monsters accordingly.

Loading D14 as is. It's not finished but it's playable. I don't want to put off the other updates another week.

I noticed Dark was running her maximized barbarian (D16 items), so I couldn't get a good feel for the difficulty. It should be difficult enough to kill anyone who isn't careful, but it must not be too difficult for players who don't have access to all the higher dungeon equipment. Keep in mind that new players don't necessarily have the benefit of loot hand-me-downs (or transfers) and have no way to reach D16 without going through D14 first.

So, how's the difficulty looking for the new D14? Is it beatable for characters who progress normally through the dungeons?

i ran through it at lvl 54ish but i was in the rusty set. its a nice looking dungon. but i have one ? 4 u sarah. y did u give that vampire that is in the dungon part of the castle dev crit? no one has a crit immunity. and his dc is 60. i died to dev crit every time i fought him. its illeagle for us to take it dev crit.... y give it to a monster. and i like nosferatu as the boss way better than drac. much harder of a fight. all in all sarah i think u did an amazing job on 14 and i am really looking forward to the quest part of the dungon.

and on the diffuculty lvl. like i said i was lvl 54 in the rusty set and i found some of it still very challenging. that vampire in the robe in the dungon was imposible for me to kill. that dev crit he does is jsut too much i think.

Are you talking about the elder vampire who spawns when you approach his sarcophagus?

His name is "Vlad the Impaler"... and he hit's hard.

I like D14 very much, can't wait to see the rest. Thank you Sarah for all your hard work.

ok awhile ago i told u i was gunna make a new toon to try out d14 with out any gear requiring d 14s key. well ill say this it was VERY hard but posible. i have a toon 3 rouge 25 wm 12 fighter. who was wearing the blessed set , set of might boots and ring, ring of the ram, pirates armor, cloke of luck +6 and i dont remember wat belt i was wearing and 2 +12 sonic short swords. got to vlad with little problem other then other peoples over spawns. vlad was a hard fight but i killed him. then nosfertu. i used the true strike buff on my sling of seeking right b4 i went into pentagram. he killed me like 3 times but on the 4th try i got him.
WARNING ALL: DO NOT LEAVE THAT TRIANGLE U GO INTO . THE ARMY OF VAMPIRE QUEENS WILL DESIMATE

in my opinion i had a very hard time hitting stuff in there with a 69 ab.... that is +12 wpns highest posible b4 d15. and 25 lvls of wm. i can really see y people are having a hell of a time in there. litterally i think its on the same lvl of diffuculty as d16. so is it posible to solo. yes. is it too hard for toons with no gear that requires d14s or highers key.. yes.. pretty much i think there ac is way too high. i have not had a chance to play in there with a caster so i cannot speak from the magic user perspective.

i am not "bitching" i just said i would properly play it and i did and this is the conclusions i have come up with

thanks sarah for yer hard work we all do appreate it.
